So he stops for a moment, looking down at the silver dagger in his hand, turning it in thought. He's past second thoughts, he's past thinking that Nik might've changed - the same mindset he awoke with every time he was undaggered.

I've not had to try the sigils but I trust the source that taught them. He was just desperate enough to tell the truth.
